What am I exploring in these paintings?

In this series, I explore the theme of ethereal romance, drawing inspiration from the delicate grace and timeless elegance found in flowers and botanicals. The paintings exude a dreamlike quality, transporting viewers into a world where reality intertwines with fantasy. The softness of petals, the gentle sway of leaves, and the subtle interplay of translucent layers all come together to create an ethereal atmosphere that is both captivating and serene.

How did I start this series? 

Before the paintings were even started, I gathered inspiration from Pinterest photos to create an ambience to establish a gentle, timeless mood filled with old tapestries, classical interiors, flowing architectural details, the muted colors of old paintings, and vintage collectibles.

As an artist, I have always been drawn to the delicate and intricate beauty of flowers and plants. In these new paintings, I have sought to capture the ethereal quality of these subjects, while also incorporating elements of romance and nostalgia. The result is a collection of pieces that are both dreamy and evocative, transporting the viewer to a world of beauty and wonder. Each painting is a harmonious blend of soft hues and a profound sense of emotion. Through my brushstrokes, I attempt to capture the essence of nature's most exquisite creations.
