Can I commission a painting?

Yes! I love doing commissions and working with collectors and designers. Please see my Commission information under the “Buy Original Art” in the top navigation bar for more information. A typical lead time is six to ten weeks from the date the deposit is received.

DO YOU WORK WITH DESIGNERs AND ART CONSULTANTS? DO YOU OFFER DESIGNER DISCOUNTS?

Yes, please contact me with your business information and let’s start the conversation of working together towards creating a great result for your clients.

I WOULD LOVE TO FEATURE YOU IN OUR MAGAZINE, BLOG OR PODCAST. DOES THIS INTEREST YOU AND CAN I RECEIVE IMAGES?

Yes, of course, I love working with editors, writers, interviewers and bloggers to share information which is helpful for your audience. Please send me an email with your ideas and requirements.

What is the PRINT QUALITY and delivery time?

All print reproductions in my shop are high quality giclée reproductions. They are printed on flat artist canvas or paper and can be matted, dry-mounted, or with the canvas, stretched over wooden stretcher bars. All giclée reproductions are printed to order and typically take 10-14 days for delivery to ensure quality control.

I WOULD LIKE TO BUY A DIFFERENT SIZE PRINT THAN WHAT IS OFFERED?

At this time I only offer the prints sizes specified in the shop to be able to maintain the quality and control, and add to the value of the artwork. We will look at expanding the size selection for the future.

Do you offer FRAMING?

At this time I do not offer framing from my studio. I can give you suggestions for your intended installation room. Visit a professional framer to see the options for framing originals, as well as matting and framing prints.

HOW WILL MY original ARTWORK BE SHIPPED?

All artwork is carefully wrapped with paper and padded well with bubble wrap or foam. It is packaged in a sturdy, well-fitting cardboard box. For larger sizes it is double boxed for added care and security.

Typically for original artwork larger than 30” x 40” (76 x 122 cm) the canvas is shipped unstretched, rolled and padded before being packaged in a sturdy mailing tube. We will communicate with your framer or source local framers for you to gain more information about them and receive estimates. We will work with the chosen framer to stretch the canvas and have it delivered to your home or office. You can also have it framed at this time.

If you prefer, a large painting can be shipped fully stretched using a freight service to Canada or the United States.

Most artwork will ship via FedEx and most shipments are delivered within 2-4 business days.

Shipping costs for large paintings will be confirmed with each individual destination. Please be aware that your government, excluding Canada and the United States, may charge duty/fees for imported products based upon the value of your order, and you are responsible for paying any of these fees.

How will my prints be shipped?

Prints that are 11” x 14” and smaller are mailed in a sturdy flat mailer. Prints that are 16” x 20” are mailed in a sturdy mailing tube.

Prints are typically shipped via USPS or FedEx.

Shipping costs to the United States are calculated at checkout based on package weight and distance. If there is any discrepancy -/+ we will let you know via email.

For shipments to countries other than the United States, the costs will be confirmed with each individual destination. Please be aware that your government (excluding Canada) may charge duty/fees for imported products based upon the value of your order, and you are responsible for paying any of these fees.

Do you allow local pick-up for originals?

Yes indeed! Please email me, and we will coordinate a time for you to pick up your painting.

What is your RETURN AND EXCHANGE policy?

Every order, commission, and sale is handled with care and as much clarity and transparency as possible. Our goal is for you to be thrilled with your purchase. I do not allow returns or exchanges on prints or originals unless damaged during shipping. WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT IF I BUY THE ORIGINAL PAINTING?

I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings.   I retain the right to make REPRODUCTIONS OF ANY AND ALL ARTWORK I CREATE UNLESS THE COLLECTOR HAS PURCHASED THE FULL OR PARTIAL RIGHTS TO THE ARTWORK (this is in addition to purchasing the original).

The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.

If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media please credit with my name and contact information.

When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business (hooray!) but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.

Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your painting.  Some collectors choose to purchase my right to reproduce the artwork to ensure it will never become a print.  I am totally happy to discuss that with you if you would like!
